On the final day of round one of the Carling Cup, another Championship side fell to a lower league club. This time it was Sheffield United falling to Hartlepool 2-0. Cardiff City took care of League Two side Burton Albion 4-1, and Reading squeaked by Torquay United 1-0.
Another season, another loss in the first round of the Carling Cup to a League Two side, normalcy restored for Derby fans. Thankfully Derby were not the only club that was shocked in the second day of Round One in the Carling Cup.
