Danny Allsopp returns to the Melbourne Victory after a stint with D.C. United of Major League Soccer.


Melbourne Victory's announcement that Danny Allsopp would be returning to the club is music to Victory fans ears. The striker who was part of Melbourne's foundation squad back in 2005 quickly formed a deadly partnership with fellow front man Archie Thompson and was a fan favorite in no time.

Brisbane Are Standouts In An Outstanding Season That Will Go Down To The Wire


Runaway leaders of the A-League, Brisbane Roar, have all but sealed the 2010-11 Minor Premiership after their 2-0 victory over North Queensland Saturday.  Two goals by Kosta Barbarouses at either end of the game meant Brisbane secured all three points and opened a ten-point gap between themselves and second placed Adelaide.  Adelaide does have two games in hand though and must win against bottom placed Perth Glory Wednesday to pose any real title threat.
